This week was a catch-up week for our Leader in Me instruction. Teachers took the time to catch up on learning modules or review past instruction. This is a great time to review the 7 Habits Tree.

The Track & Field season has begun. The team will continue with practice as they prepare for their first meet. 

Next week is a big week for us to measure student achievement thus far in the year. 3rd-8th graders will be completing the statewide CAASPP test. TK-2nd grades will be completing their end-of-the-year NWEA assessment. Rest and eat well to be in full strength for next week’s assessments.

We are happy to announce that aftercare payments can now be made using a credit card. Any credit card transactions must be completed in the school office.

We are looking to expand our middle school elective program. If you know of any adult who has a program that would be interesting for our middle schoolers, please have them contact the office. We run six-week sessions of electives once a week on Thursday from 2:15-3:00 and are looking for adults who would be willing to present the program. Some ideas have included outdoor activities, finances, fine arts, and gardening. There are many other ideas that you may have.

Wearing school spirit gear on Fridays is a fun way to build pride, strengthen our community, and show support for our school—let’s fill our Fridays with school spirit!
