This week, we learned how to communicate effectively using “I” messages. Invite your learner to teach you how to use “I” messages.

The Track & Field team continues with practice as they prepare for their first meet on May 12th.  

Our School Art Showcase is just around the corner! We invite all students to participate by submitting their artwork to the office by May 1st.

Artwork will be proudly displayed for families to enjoy on May 7th. Please stop by the office to pick up official art paper and for any additional details. We look forward to celebrating our students’ creativity!

A big thanks to all of the students who showed their greatest potential on this past week’s CAASPP and NWEA assessments. We only have a few more classes to finish and a few more students to make up missed assessments.  

Our annual Color Run fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, May 1st. Come watch your students run, get colorful, and raise some money after lunch on the 1st. Thank you to the Ed Foundation for organizing the event.

We are happy to announce that aftercare payments can now be made using a credit card. Any credit card transactions must be completed in the school office.

We are looking to expand our middle school elective program. If you know of any adult who has a program that would be interesting for our middle schoolers, please have them contact the office. We run six-week sessions of electives once a week on Thursday from 2:15-3:00 and are looking for adults who would be willing to present the program. Some ideas have included outdoor activities, finances, fine arts, and gardening. There are many other ideas that you may have.

Wearing school spirit gear on Fridays is a fun way to build pride, strengthen our community, and show support for our school—let’s fill our Fridays with school spirit!
