We are excited to share the 7 Habits with our family members and caregivers. Try this activity as a family: Take a “strategic pause.” Get a sip of water, stretch, breathe in, and think of something happy. When is strategic pause helpful? As we learn about the habits, we invite you to use the habit homework menu and challenge your family to engage in the activities!  

Volleyball plays on Monday at Bella Vista. Volleyball A team and soccer compete on Wednesday at home against Turtle Bay. Cross country 4th-8th graders run on Thursday at Caldwell Park. K-3rd will run on Friday also at Caldwell Park. 

We will practice our monthly evacuation drill on Tuesday. Parents can expect a sample message that will explain procedures in the case of an actual school evacuation. 

Wear your neon and white wardrobe for a fun night of blacklight bingo on Friday, September 18. There will be plenty of winners.

North Cow Creek Elem School's has begun, and we need your help. Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 to help fund educational needs for students!.

Shasta Rock Club in Redding is hosting a free Parent Orientation Night on Friday, September 11 from 5:30–7:30 PM

Kids and teens ages 5–17 can climb for free, rental shoes are included, and no climbing experience is needed. Our youth coaches will be available to help kids get started while parents can meet our instructors, ask questions, and learn more about our youth climbing programs.

We’re hoping to introduce more local families to climbing and give kids an opportunity to try something active in a beginner-friendly environment.
